
COACHING STAFF
Bob Muggeo
Bob has managed and coached throughout various competition levels ranging from AAU baseball leagues through college summer leagues. As a player/manager for the Cresskill Cardinals his teams won 9 NJ Met League Championships. In the 2015 Bob took over the reins as the head coach of the Bergen Catholic HS baseball program. In his first season he led the Crusaders to the Bergen County Tournament finals and a 24-7 record. In 2017 Coach Muggeo led the Bergen Catholic Crusaders to their first Bergen County Tournament Championship since 1999 and a 21-6 record. In his 3 seasons as coach of the Crusaders they have won more than 20 games each season. Prior to coaching at Bergen Catholic, he was he was the varsity pitching coach for St. Joseph Regional High School. Bob has owned and operated Muggeo Baseball & Softball Training Center since 2009.

Tom McLaughlin
Tom earned All-State and All Conference Honors, and in 2000 was named to the NCAA Division I Freshman All-American Team while playing infield at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Tom currently manages the Muggeo Cardinals 14U team, which in its brief existence has already captured league titles and prepared players for baseball action at the high school level. Tom coached the St. Joseph freshman baseball team in 2013 and the JV squad in 2014. In 2015 he moved to BC as an assistant varsity coach of the Bergen Catholic Crusaders. Tom is currently the head freshmen baseball coach at BC. In addition to coaching baseball, Tom teaches social studies, and coaches junior varsity basketball at BC.

Alex Muggeo
Alex played high school baseball at Saint Joseph Regional HS in Montvale from 2010-2013. Alex attended The University of Scranton in Pennsylvania where he played baseball and studied history. Alex was a 4 year member of the baseball team while at Scranton. Throughout his high school and college career he played catcher, first base, and infield. In his senior year at the University of Scranton, Alex was awarded the Alicia Tambioa memorial sportsmanship award. Coach Alex has coached the 12u, 13u, and 14u Muggeo Cardinals. Alex coaches the Bergen Catholic High School junior varsity baseball team and teaches social studies at Bergen Catholic HS.

Mike Rucereto
Mike played baseball at Bergen Catholic from 2008-2011. Mike attended Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania where he majored in Public Relations and received his minor in Environmental Science.
Coach Mike played 4 years of varsity baseball and was a three-time captain his sophomore, junior and senior year at Susquehanna. Throughout high school and his early years in college he was a catcher. In his final three years of college, he transitioned to a corner outfielder. Mike still plays with the Bergen Pirates summer baseball organization in the NJABL. Coach Mike is currently the assistant freshman baseball coach at Bergen Catholic. In addition to coaching, Mike teaches computer science at Bergen Catholic.

Chris DiGirolamo
Chris played baseball at Dumont High School from 2001-2004. In 2007, he began his coaching career at Dumont spending 7 years working with the varsity team. In his time Dumont won 5 league titles and one state sectional title. He currently is a teacher in the Harrington Park School District where he coaches middle school volleyball Chris recently became the head JV baseball coach at Northern Valley Old Tappan HS. Chris serves as the Bergen Catholic fall freshman coach, as well as the winter hitting coordinator for the Bergen Catholic Crusaders.

Erin Fahy
Erin graduated from William Paterson University with a degree in Exercise Physiology. She has been training clients in Bergen County for more then 15 years. Sports and competition have always been apart of her life. Erin played basketball through college, moved on to training for half marathons and marathons, and then found her way to be a successful Figure competitor. The sum of all her training has taught her that consistency, discipline, and hard work provide tangible results
