Our inaugural season 2011
Our history of success began in the fall of 2011 with our first 14U team. The concept was to put together serious ball players on age appropriate teams and compete against the best travel and town teams in the Bergen/Rockland County area in leagues and tournaments. In a very short time, many of our original goals had already been met. Not only to produce great ball players who are ready to compete at the next level, but also great young men. The inaugural season saw the 2011 Muggeo Cardinals play some outstanding baseball, and set the bar for years to come.
The Muggeo Baseball Program is committed to developing well-rounded baseball players through quality instruction, purposeful practice, and meaningful competition. Our program places a strong emphasis on player development, using practices as an opportunity to build strong fundamentals, refine individual skills, develop baseball IQ, and teach players how to consistently approach the game the right way. We believe players improve most when they are challenged, coached, and given the opportunity to learn from both success and failure, which is why we create a competitive environment that pushes players to grow while building confidence and a deeper understanding of the game. Our goal is to help each player maximize his individual potential while developing the skills, work ethic, and confidence necessary to continue succeeding at the next level.

Since our inaugural season in 2011, countless Muggeo Baseball alums have competed at the top level of New Jersey and New York high school baseball. Many Cardinals have continued their baseball careers beyond high school and onto the next level across NCAA division I, II, III, and NAIA school. Here are a few of the schools where Muggeo athletes have competed in college.
